Last updated: May 9, 2026 / Publisher: Satoshi Kutsuna
These Terms of Service govern the use of the mobile application "ID Quick Reference" and related services provided by Satoshi Kutsuna ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these terms carefully before using the service. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Scope

  1. These terms apply to all use of the service.
  2. Anyone using the service (“user”) must review and accept these terms before use.

2. Definitions

  1. "Service" means the ID Quick Reference application, whether distributed on iOS, Android, web, or related platforms, together with associated content and services.
  2. “User” means any person who accesses or uses the service.
  3. “Subscription” means a recurring paid plan that allows continued access to paid features of the service.

3. Intended Users

  2. Non-clinicians may access the service, but it is not intended for self-diagnosis, self-treatment, or direct patient decision-making by the general public.

3.1 Subscriber Feature: Institutional Antibiogram (v2.0)

  1. Users on an active paid subscription may upload an image or PDF of their institution's antibiogram (cumulative susceptibility table) for AI-assisted structured extraction by Anthropic's Claude Vision API.
  2. Uploaded image data is transmitted briefly through our backend (Cloudflare Workers) to Anthropic's API for processing. Uploaded images are not retained on our servers after processing; Anthropic's handling is governed by its own API usage policies.
  3. Structured results (organism, antibiotic, percent susceptible) are stored locally on the user's device (localStorage) only. They are not stored on our servers.
  4. The user is responsible for ensuring that uploaded images contain only aggregate institutional susceptibility data and do not contain protected health information (PHI), patient identifiers, staff personal data, or other confidential information. Any third-party rights infringement caused by the user's upload remains the user's responsibility.
  5. AI-extracted results may contain recognition errors. Before using results for clinical decisions, the user must verify them against the original antibiogram and correct them using the in-app edit interface as needed.
  6. This feature provides supportive reference information for institution-level empirical therapy guidance only. It is not intended for direct prescribing decisions for any specific patient. Final prescribing decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician.
  7. To prevent abuse, rate limits may apply to the upload/analysis function. Excessive or automated use may be throttled or blocked.
